We will hear from Kari Costanza, Comunications Director for World Vision International as she shares her experiences in the Horn of Africa reporting on the famine that has left hundreds of thousands of refugees on the verge of starvation, and has already killed nearly 30,000 children. In preparation, we will be reading Ms. Costanza’s essay, The Hole in the Ground, based on her experiences in the world’s largest refugee camp in Dadaab, in eastern Kenya.
