Woman of Distinction Award

On March 11, 2009, Theresa Schulz Norris, WEI Founder and President, was honored with Washington State University’s Annual Alumni Woman of Distinction award presented by the National Women’s History Project. The NWHP honors and recognizes the role of women in creating positive social change, increasing equality for all, and building community in countless ways.

Theresa was recognized as a woman who has contributed to the personal growth and success of others through her personal dedication and commitment to the vision and mission of WEI.
